Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes!
I was spoiled for my birthday today:
1. There were 3 groups of people that sang to me.
2. Philip, the cook made me a Malawian cake. (The cake said, "Happy Birthday Emmi". He almost got it right).
3. My friends treated me to dinner.
4. I received a loaf of bread and a sweet little angel pin as gifts.
My brithday is usually spent with my family, so it made me miss them so much today.

This is Rosaline. She's about 2 months old and has a sweet twin brother named Chisomo.
Play day at the Crisis Nursery. We try to get the infants outside to enjoy the sun whenever we can.
These were just a few of the women waiting for us when we arrived in their village, Chiwangam'be. We bring them medical assistance once a month.
Mphatso is one of the orphans I like spending time with most. He tries to take care of other babies in the nursery by stroking their faces when they are upset. It is so sweet!

Hey Amy! I just wanted to check up on you but no knew news. I just hope you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers every single day! The Journey picinic is today and I really wish you could be there. I cannot believe it was almost two years ago that we embarked on such a wonderful trip together. I'm so lucky to have met you! Hope everything is going great! I love you!
